Eagle Creek Little League

Division Types

T-ball

For boys and girls ages 4-6, participants learn the basics of the game while hitting off a tee. No scores are kept.

Rookie baseball/softball

For players ages 6-8, participants start to learn more of the game in a non-competitive atmosphere. Coaches pitch to the players, and no scores are kept.

Minor baseball

For players ages 8-9, participants start to learn more of the game in a non-competitive atmosphere. Players start to pitch and catch; no scores are kept.

Major-minor baseball

For players ages 9-11, this division, while competitive, still concentrates on teaching skills. Scores are kept; players pitch. For 2017, this division will play an interleague schedule with Washington Township Little League

Major baseball

Little League's best-known division, for players ages 11-12, competitive games are played on a field with 60-foot basepaths.

Intermediate (50/70) baseball

Little League's newest division, for players ages 11-13; competitive games are played on a field with 70-foot basepaths using mostly regulation rules, including lead-offs and balks. Eagle Creek has begun a limited program in this division, involving interleague games on the road, usually on Sundays.


Junior League baseball

For boys and girls ages 12-14, this is regulation baseball on 90-foot basepaths.

Senior League baseball

For boys and girls ages 15-16, this is regulation baseball on 90-foot basepaths.

Minor Softball

For girls ages 7-10, participants start to learn more of the game in a non-competitive atmosphere. Players begin to pitch and catch; no scores are kept. Participants play against both other Eagle Creek teams and teams from other nearby leagues in an interleague setup.

Major Softball

For girls ages 10-12, participants play competitive games against teams from other nearby leagues in an interleague setup.

Junior League softball

For girls ages 12-14, participants play competitive games against teams from other nearby leagues in an interleague setup.
